German Surfergirl, Competitive athlete
I was born in Berlin (Germany) in 2002 and now I live a little further outside Berlin with my family. I've been going to the Wellenwerk of Berlin (Citywave) since the end of November 2019 to improve my surf skills.
The ocean means a lot to me. In 2017 I started surfing on Fuerteventura. From this point on the surf fever had taken hold of me. We started it as a family, because my parents both came from the windsurfing and we were going to try a new water sport together. From that point on, almost every holiday has always been to the sea. In our family, vacations are very important, so I have had the privilege of surfing in Spain, France, Portugal or Cape Verden in Africa. But the Maldives have been on our list for diving and windsurfing a few times as well.
My hobbies besides surfing are:
Surfskating, skiing, snowboarding, swimming, scuba diving, windsurfing, singing and playing ukulele.

In the ocean, I just feel free and independent. When I wait in the lineup for my next wave, I feel this deep connection to nature and then forget space and time. I'm just enjoying this moment. It's just an incredible feeling of what any surfer will know;) I like surfing with friends, that's so much fun!
RAPID SURFING🏄♀️
As I was saying, I started rapid surfing a year ago and have been training at the citywave "Wellenwerk" in Berlin (Instagram: @wellenwerk) ever since. Stationary wave surfing helps me during the times I can't be at the ocean. So I can still surf. Now I am teamrider for the Wellenwerk. My personal highlight has been the first participation in a surf-competition, the German championship in Rapid surfing (location: Wellenwerk). That was one of the greatest moments in my life. The whole event was so impressive! What I didn't expect was that I'd made it to the semi-finals in the championship. I was delighted and surprised, too, because I've only been there (at the citywave) for about 10 month. Next year I want to come back stronger! It's so much fun!
